A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS ON BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF
CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS FOR USE BY THE CIVIL DEFENSE
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation for bids for the equipment and materials
identified by this Resolution have been legally published; and
WHEREAS, the bids have been received and opened pursuant to
said invitation; and
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors desires to award contracts
on said bids to the lowest responsible bidder therefor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Contracts for the purchase of the following materials
and equipment for use by the Civil Defense Department are hereby
awarded to the persons, firms, or corporations in the amounts
shown below:

5 Factory Conversion of Vertical

Warning Timers Supply Corporation $1,483 .25
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrants in payment
of the purchase price hereinabove identified.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
