A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER
TO NEGOTIATE FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREIN-
AFTER DESCRIBED FROM THE OWNERS THEREOF FOR AN AGGREGATE
PRICE NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY FOUR
THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($134,000 .00) ; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to negotiate for the purchase by the City of Little Rock of the
following described property from the owners thereof for a price
not to exceed the respective amounts set forth by each of the
described parcels:
Lots 7 , 3 , 9 , 10, 11 and 12, Block 136, Original
City of Little Rock, Arkansas . $80,000 .00
Lots 7, 3 , 9 and the West 5 ' of Lot 10, Block
122, Original City of Little Rock. $70,000 .00
Part of Lots 5 and 6, Block 122, Original City of
Little Rock, described as follows: Commence at the
Northwest corner of Lot 6, Block 122, Original City
Of Little Rock; thence run South 71.4 ' to the point
of beginning; thence in a Northeasterly direction to
the East line of Lot 5 , Block 122 to a point that is
59 .5 ' South of the Northeast corner of said Lot 5 ;
thence South to the Southeast corner of said Lot 5 ;
thence West 100 ' to the Southwest corner of Lot 6;
thence North 68.6 ' more or less to the point of
beginning. $34,000 .00
The aggregate price to be paid for all of the aforementioned parcels
shall not exceed the sum of One Hundred Eighty Four Thousand and
No/100 Dollars ($184,000.00) .
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
