A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS ON BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS FOR USE BY THE TRAFFIC
ENGINEER IN AND UPON PUBLIC STREETS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK; RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2287 PASSED JANUARY 19 ,
1959; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, invitation for bids for the equipment and materials
identified by this Resolution have been legally published; and
WHEREAS , bids have been received and opened pursuant to
said invitation; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
desires to award contracts on said bids to the lowest responsible
bidder therefor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. Contracts for the purchase of the following
materials and equipment for useby the Traffic Engineer in and
upon the public streets of the City of Little Rock are hereby
awarded to the persons, firms or corporations in the amounts
shown below:
QUANTITY ITEMS SELLER TOTAL NET PRICE
2,800 gallons----Pre-mixed Marking Compound-Wonder State
Paint Company---$3,046.36
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant
payable to Wonder State Paint Company in full payment of the said
purchase price.

SECTION 3 . Resolution No . 2237 passed January 19 , 1959 , is
hereby rescinded.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
