A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING M. M. EBERTS POST NO . 1 OF
THE AMERICAN LEGION TO PROMOTE THE SALE OF THE NEW
AMERICAN FLAG; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS , M. M. Eberts Post No . 1 of the American Legion
has requested permission to promote the sale of the new
American Flag to be displayed on July 4th at various cere-
monies throughout the County and,
WHEREAS , said organization proposes to use the proceeds
from such sale to promote the American Legion ' s Americanism
Youth Program and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors is desirous of authorizing
such worthy project,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the M. M. Eberts Post No . 1 of the American
Legion is hereby granted permission to promote the sale of the
new American Flag to be displayed at various ceremonies through-
out the County on July 4, 1959 .
SECTION 2 . This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption .
