A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS AND CONTRACT FOR THE WIDENING
AND PAVING OF EIGHTH STREET BETWEEN LOUISIANA AND CENTER
STREETS; EMPLOYING MAX A . MEHLBURGER, CIVIL ENGINEERS ,
TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE WIDENING
AND PAVING OF EIGHTH STREET BETWEEN LOUISIANA AND CENTER
STREETS , TO SUPERVISE THE CONSTRUCTION ACCORDING TO SAID
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS , PROVIDING A FEE FOR SAID ENGINEER-
ING SERVICES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to advertise, take bids and contract for the widening and paving
of Eighth Street between Louisiana and Center Streets .
SECTION 2. Max A. Mehlburger, Civil Engineers, is hereby
employed to furnish complete engineering services, including
preparation of plans and specifications , supervision of construction
of the widening and paving of Eighth Street between Louisiana and
Center Streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas .
SECTION 3 . Said Max A. Mehlburger shall be paid for services
provided for hereinabove in Section 2 in accordance with the
following schedule:
COST OF CONSTRUCTION BASIC MINIMUM FEES CO
Less than $10,000 10 .0 plus or per diem
$10,000 to $25 ,000 8 .5
$25 ,000 to $50 ,000 7 .5
$50,000 to $100,000 7 .0
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
