A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOW BID OF AND AWARDING CONTRACT
TO REBSAMEN MOTORS FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 1959 FORD
STATION WAGON FOR USE BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the City has legally advertised for bids for the
purchase of one (1) 1959 Ford Station Wagon for use by the Street
Department, and
WHEREAS, bids have been received and opened pursuant to
said advertisement, and
WHEREAS, the bid of Rebsamen Motors of Little Rock, Arkansas,
is the lowest bid submitted therefor, and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is desirous of awarding
contract for purchase of said Station Wagon to said Rebsamen Motors,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1 . A contract for the purchase of a 1959 Ford. Station
Wagon for a total price of Two Thousand Two Hundred Thirty and
91/100 Dollars ($2,230.91) for use by the Street Department is
hereby awarded to Rebsamen Motors of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are here-
by authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant or
warrants payable to Rebsamen Motors in full payment of said pur-
chase price.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
ADOPTED: November 17, 1958.
