A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
FISCAL OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO
RECEIVE AND HOLD FOR ACCOUNT OF THE ARKANSAS
LIVESTOCK SHOW ASSOCIATION ANY FUNDS RETURNED
BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, FROM THE GRANT-IN-AID FUNDS
APPROPRIATED BY THE CITY TO THE AUTHORITY IN
CONNECTION WITH THE ARKANSAS LIVESTOCK SHOW
AREA URBAN RENEWAL PLAN, PROJECT ARK R-2;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTTF ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That in the event the Housing Authority of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas finds it necessary or appropriate
to transfer back to the City of Little Rock all or any portion
of the sum of One Hundred and Seventy Thousand Dollars this
date appropriated from the City 's General Fund to said Housing
Authority as the City' s cash grant-in-aid in connection with
said Authority ' s Livestock Show Area Urban Renewal Plan, Project
ARK R-2, the fiscal officers of said City be and hereby are
authorized and directed to receive and hold said funds solely
for the account of the Arkansas Livestock Show Association, and
to disburse the same solely upon the written instructions of
said Arkansas Livestock Show Association, from whence said funds
originated.
SECTION 2. That it is hereby found and declared to be a
fact that authorization for the handling of said funds in the
manner aforesaid is immediately necessary for the preservation
of the public health, welfare, morals and peace. An emergency
is therefore declared to exist and this resolution shall take
effect immediately upon its adoption and approval .
