HomeMy WebLinkAbout2177 RESOLUTION NO. 2177 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION TO VACATE AND ABANDON THAT PORTION OF EAST TWENTY-SIXTH (26TH) STREET RUNNING EAST AND WEST A DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 285 FEET WEST FROM BARBER STREET, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the petitioners, Thelma C. Martineau and Lela M. Crook, have duly filed a petition to vacate and abandon a por- tion of East 26th Street West from the right-of-way line of Barber Avenue, a distance of 285 feet and lying North of Lot 1 of Subdivision of Lot 1, Block 4, Watkins Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas : NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That a public hearing, upon the petition to vacate and abandon a portion of East 26th Street West from the right-of-way line of Barber Avenue, a distance of 285 feet and lying North of Lot 1 of Subdivision of Lot 1, Block 4, Watkins Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, be held on the 16th day of December, 1957 . SECTION 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption by the Board of Directors and approval by the Mayor. ADOPTED: November 18, 1957. ATTEST: APPROVED: 174!"
