A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF LAWSON L.
DELONY AS A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS
WHEREAS, the term of Lawson L. Delony as a member of the
Board of Commissioners of the Little Rock Municipal hater Works will
expire on the 31st day of October, 1957, and
WHEREAS, the remaining members of the Board of Commissioners
have, by proper resolution, re-appointed said Lawson L. Delony to
serve an additional term of eight years, said term to expire on the
31st day of October, 1965, and
WH?'R AS, the appointment of a Commissioner by the remaining
members of the Board of Commissioners of the Little Rock Municipal
Water Works is subject to the approval of two-thirds of the duly
elected and qualified members of the City Council, NOW, THEREFORE ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the appointment of Lawson L. Delony as a
member of the Board of Commissioners of the Little Rock Municipal
Water Works by the remaining members of said Board of Commissioners
on the 14th day of October, 1957, for a term to expire on the 31st
day of October, 1965, be, and the same is hereby, approved.
ADOPTED: October 14 , 1957 .
