A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR A HEARING ON A
PETITION TO CLOSE AND VACATE THE PLATTED ALLEY
IN BLOCK 31 , INDUSTRIAL PARK .ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, Southern Investment Company, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Price, and the
Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation have filed with the Little Rock City
Council a petition praying that the platted alley in Block 3i , Industrial Park
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas be vacated and closed, and have
alleged that they are the owners of all real property abutting upon said alley;
NOY, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Little Rock,
Arkansas:
Section 1. That the 29th day of July , 1957, at 8:00 P.M. in
the Council Chambers, is the date fixed for the hearing on this petition.
Section 2. That the City Clerk give notice of such hearing by publica-
tion, once a week for two consecutive weeks, in some newspaper published in the
County and having a general circulation in the City, stating in said notice
the name of the petitioners, a description of the alley and a description of the
abutting real property, and advising all persons that on the date named above, the
Council will hear the petition and determine whether said alley shall be vacated,
