A RESOLUTION FIXING DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A
PETITION TO VACATE AND ABANDON THAT PORTION OF "I"
STREET WHICH LIES BETWEEN BLOCKS TWELVE (12 ) AND
THIRTEEN (13) , PLEASANT HILL ADITION TO THE CITY
OF LITTLE HOCK , ARKANSAS AND THAT PORTION OF "J"
STREET WHICH LIES BETWEEN BLOCKS FIVE ( 5 ) AND
TWELVE (12) , PLEASANT HILL ADDITI ON TO THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK , ARKANSAS , PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLI-
CATION CF NOTICE THEREOF AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed on the 10th day of May, 1957 ,
asking that the City Council of the City of Little Rock vacate and
abandon all that portion of "I" Street lying between Blocks Twelve
(12) and Thirteen (13 ) and all that portion of "J" Street lying
between Blocks Five ( 5 ) and Twelve (12 ) , Pleasant Hill Addition to
the City of Little hock, Arkansas.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESULV JD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS , that the meeting of said City Council at Y:ora
o'clock p.m. on D onday, May 27, 1957, be fixed as the date for the
hearing upon said Petition to vacate and abandon said portion of "I"
street lying between Blocks Twelve (12 ) and Thirteen (13 ) and that
portion of "J" Street lying between Blocks Five ( 5 ) and Twelve (12)
Pleasant Hill Addition to the City of Little stock, Arkansas and the
City Clerk is hereby directed tc give notice of such meeting by
publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper
published in Pulaski County, Arkansas and having a general circulation
in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. The notice shall state the
names of the persons signing said Petition , shall describe the streets
to be vacated and advise all persons that on said date fixed herein
the City Council will determine whether the said two streets shall be
vacated.
