RESOLUTION APPOINTING COMMISSIONER IN
STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 588
WHEREAS, since being appointed a commissioner in Street
Improvement District No. 588 of Little Rock, Arkansas, Joe E. Ashcraft
has sold his property in said District and is no longer a property
owner within said District, and is therefore disqualified by law to
act as commissioner for said District; and
WHEREAS, Joe N . Ashcraft ha s tendered his resignation as
commissioner in said District and said resignation should be accepted;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ashcraft and the Board of Commissioners of
said District have recommended the appointment of Clarence D. Page
as a successor to Mr. Ashcraft on said Board of Improvement and have
represented that Mr. Page is a property owner in said District;
now, therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED, that Clarence D. Page be and he is hereby
appointed a commissioner for Street Improvement District No. 588
of Little Rock, Arkansas , vtho shall forthwith take his oath of office
and enter upon his duties v ith the other commissioners of said
District.
