A RESOLUTION FIXING THE DATE AND PROVIDING FOR NOTICE OF A PUBLIC
HEARING ON A PETITION TO VACATE AND ABANDON THAT PART OF NORTH
RIDGEWAY STREET BETWEEN HILL ROAD AND "H" STREET, INTERSECTING
BLOCKS 7 AND 8 OF THE AUTEN AND MOSS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK.
WHEREAS, ANNESHARPE HOLMANN has duly filed a petition with the
City Council of Little Rock on the 18th day of June, 1956, asking that
the City Council close, vacate, and abandon that part of North Ridgeway
Street between Hill Road and "H" Street, intersecting Blocks 7 and 8
of the Auten and Moss Addition to the City of Little Rock, and
WHEREAS, the Petitioner has properly designated the portion of
the street and filed a photostat of the plat showing said portion to-
gether with the abutting block and lot numbers , NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, in regular meeting assembled this 18th day of June, 1956,
that the day for the hearing on this petition shall be Monday, July
9, 1956, at 8 :00 P.M.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is directed to give
notice of the hearing by publication once a week for two consecutive
weeks in a newspaper of county-wide distribution, the notice to state
the names of the persons signing the petition, the name of the portion
of the street, the abutting lot and block numbers, and the day certain
on which the City Council will hear and determine whether North Ridgeway
Street between Hill Road and "H" Street shall be closed and abandoned.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall be in full
force and effect from and after its adoption by the City Council and
approval by the Mayor.
