A RESOLUTION FIXING THE DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION
TO VACATE AND ABANDON THP.T PORTION OF EAST TWENTIETH STREET
RUNNING EAST AND WEST BETWEEN THE EAST HALF OF BLOCK 18 AND
BLOCK 23 OF BRAGG'S SECOND ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed by Paul E. Talley, Wayne Owen,
Sylvester Porter and Geraldine Porter, his wife, with the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the / day of December, 1955,
asking that the City Council vacate and abandon a portion of East Twentieth
Street running East and 'lest between the East Half of Block 18 and Block 23
of Bragg's Second Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, That the / e7 day of , 195a--

be fixed as the date for the hearing upon the petition to vacate and abandon
the aforesaid portion of East Twentieth Street running East and West between
the East Half of Block 18 and Block 23 of Bragg' s Second Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, being bounded on the East by McAlmont Street and on
the West by an extension of the East line of an alley running North and South
in said blocks, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Block
23, thence run West along the North line thereof
142.67 feet to the Bast line of an alley running
North and South through said Block 23, thence run
North )4O feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 7,
Block 18 of said addition, thence run East along
the South line of said Lot 7 to the Southeast
corner thereof, thence South to point of beginning;
and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of said meeting by publi-
cation once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in
Pulaski County and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas. The notice shall state the names of the signers of said petition and
the name or description of the portion of the street to be vacated and abandoned,
and advise all persons that on a said day therein named, the Council will hear
and determine whether the street shall be vacated.
