RESOLUTION NO. 205
A RESOLUTION AUThORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO SIGN AN ANNEXA`lI ON
PETITION, BEING CIRCULATED BY RESIDENTS OF PULA.SKI
COUNTY, ARKANSAS, OF CERTAIN LANDS LYING NORTH AND
WEST OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK ALONG HIGHWAY NO.
10, INCLUDING THEREIN A FIRE STATION LOCATED ON
HIGHWAY NO. 10, PETITIONING THE INCLUSION OF ALL
PROPERTY IN SAID AREA WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK BY ANNEXATION THERETO, AND
FOR OTTER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, property occupied by a fire station owned by
the City of Little Rock, located on Highway No. 10, is out-
side the City limits ; and
WHEREAS, a petition is being circulated by the people in
this area for inclusion within the City of Little Rock by
annexation thereto; and
WHEREAS, it is desirous that as many property owners and
as much property as possible be included in this petition; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that the City of Little Rock
subscribe to said petition for the inclusion of said fire sta-
tion located on said Highway No. 10;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Little Rock are hereby authorized to sign an annexation peti-
tion on behalf of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas for prop-
erty owned by the City and used by it as a fire station located
on Highway No. 10 in the area being petitioned to be annexed,
which property is described as follows :
East 75 feet of all that part of the West half of Block 5,
PLUNKETT'S SUBDIVISION OF FOREST PARK ADDITION to the City
of Little Rock, which lies South of Highway No. 10, located
wholly within the North half of the Northeast quarter of
the Northwest quarter of Section 36, Township 2 North,
Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and mph adoption.
