A RESOLUTION FIXING THE DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A
P22ITION TO VACATE AND ABANDON A PORTION OF WEST 31st
STREET LYING BETWEEN BLOCK 14 AND THE REPLAT OF PART
OF BLOCK 9, C. 0. BRACK'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS .
WHEREAS , Lenora B. Lefever, Glendal C. Johnson, and Eula
J. Johnson, his wife, have filed a petition with the City Council
requesting that the Council vacate a portion of West 31st Street
between Block 1L. and the Replat of a part of Block 9, C. 0. Brack' s
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , extending from the
east property line of Taylor Street east for approximately 140 feet
to the west line of an alley platted through Block 14 and the Replat
of a part of Block 9 , C . 0. Brack' s Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas , and they have filed with their petition a photo -
static copy of the portion of the plats filed in the office of the
Circuit Clerk and ex officio Recorder for Pulaski County, Arkansas ,
which shows the street to be vacated, together with the lot and
block numbers of each lot which abuts upon the street to be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the said petition shall be heard at eight
(8:00) o' clock p.m. on the 13th day of. June , 1955, and the City Clerk
is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing according to the
statute, by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in
a newspaper published and having a general circulation in the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas .
