WHEREAS , The Great Architect of the Universe , has called
from our midst a member of the local Fire Department,
Fred H. Clark, who had served long years of active
service , and
WHEREAS, God, in His infinite wisdom, has removed from the
rolls, a Firefighter who has faithfully served his
community; his department; his neighbors and his
fellow workers for a period of over 42 years, and
WHEREAS, desiring to perpetuate his memory and to convey to the
family our sincere sympathy in their bereavement,
THEREFORE, be it resolved that our hearts go out to them with
love and understanding in the loss of their dear
one, and we breath a prayer that God will give them
courage and strength to bear their loss bravely,
confident in the knowledge that he has fought a good
fight and that he has heard the consoling words of
the Master, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."
He has reached the end of his earthly journey and his
reward will not be transitory but eternal and glorified,
and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be spread on the
minutes of the Council Meeting and a copy be sent to
the bereaved family.
