A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR THE HEARING OF A PETITION
TO VACATE THE EAST 2 OF SANTA FE AVENUE IN BLOCK 10 AND
THE EAST OF ARKANSAS AVENUE IN BLOCK 13, BRACKS ADDI*
TION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS AND DIRECTING
THE CITY CLERK TO GIVE NOTICE OF SUCH HEARING BY PUBLI-
CATION.
WHEREAS , a petition was duly filed with the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas on February
1955, asking the City Council to vacate and-
abandon all of the East i of Santa. Fe Avenue in Block 10
and all of the East c of Aransas Avenue in Block 13 ,
Bracks Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
now appearing of record in Plat Book 1 , at Page 166 ,
in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas ;
and
WHEREAS, the owners of all property abutting upon
said streets have signed said petition;
NOW THEREFORE
Be It Resolved , that tXi.x Feb. 28, 1955 a
regular meeting day of this Council , is hereby fixed as
the day for the hearing of the afore mentioned petition.
Be It Further Resolved , that the City Clerk be and
he is hereby directed to Five notice of such meeting by
publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in some
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having
a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, said
notice shall (A ) state the name of the persons who signed
the petitions , (B) describe the streets there of to be
vacated and (C ) advise all persons that on the date herein-
above named the Council will hear and determine whether
said streets shall be vacated .
