RESOLUTION NO. 1983
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF PAUL
JACKSON PICKENS AS A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF WATER VORKS
CO1 LISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a vacancy will exist in the Board of Water
Works Commissioners of the City of Little Rock on November 1,
1953, and
WHEREAS, the remaining members of the Board of Water
Works Commissioners have by proper resolution appointed Paul
Jackson Pickens to serve as Water Commissioner for a term
expiring October 31, 1961, subject to the approval of two-thirds
of the duly elected and qualified members of the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the appointment of Paul Jackson
Pickens as a member of the Water Works Commission of the City
of Little Rock to fill the term expiring October 31, 1961, be
and the same is hereby approved.
