A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE SERVICES OF JAN
B. CARTER AS CITY ENGINEER; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
WHEREAS, Jan B. Carter has served the citizens of
Little Rock, Arkansas for a number of years as its Chief Engineer;
and
WHEREAS, Engineer Carter is hereby commended for the
contribution his department has made in the field of service to
the citizens of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Carter has been recalled to active duty
in the U. S. Navy in the service of his country, and will leave
his post as City Engineer February 1, 1953;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Mayor and members
of the City Council express to Mr. Carter warm regards and best
wishes in his new field of service to his Country.
