A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE SERVICES OF ALDERMAN
S . RICHARD SIMS AS A MEMBER OF THE LITTLE ROCK
CITY COUNCIL; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, S. Richard Sims of Little Rock's Third Ward
decided not to stand for re-election in the 1952 Democratic
primary election; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Sims has served his people of the Third
Ward for the past 10 years with honor; and
.WHEREAS, Members of the City Council have respected
his judgment and counsel during the tenure of service as a public
official; THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be
spread on the minutes of the record of this meeting, and a copy
of said resolution be forwarded to Mr . Sims .
