A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON THE CLOSING OF AN ALLEY IN BLOCK 10, POPE' S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF NOTICES THEREOF; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 13th day of August, 1952, asking that the City Council vacate and abandon all that portion of the alley lying between Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, Block 10, and Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, Block 10, all of Pope ' s Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, that the 8th day of September 1952, be fixed as the day for hearing the petition to vacate the aforesaid alley and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such meeting by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in Pulaski County, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock. The notice shall state the name of the Persons and corporation who signed the petition and the name of the alley to be vacated shall be identified by the abutting lots in the block, and block and addition shall be set forth. All persons shall be advised that on the certain day named in the notice, the Council will herein determine whether or not the said alley should be vacated. ADOPTED: August 18, 1952.
