A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXTEND TIE PERIOD OF TINE OF A CERTAIN LEASE
AGREE/ENT UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK , WITH KERN-LIMERICK , INC . , AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to extend for a period of one (1) year, that is ,
from July 1, 1951 to July 1 , 1952 , with the option to Lessee ,
upon notice to Lessor thirty (30) days before expiration,
to renew for a further period of t?•ro (2) years , that is ,from
July 1, 1952 to July _1, 1954, a certain Lease Agreement dated
July 1, 1948, upon the same terms and conditions as are set
forth in said Lease , covering the following described property
of the City of Little Rock:
Beginning at the SW corner of Block 186 of
the City of Little Rock , Arkansas , thence running
E 88' along the S line of said Block 1$6 , then
running N on a line parallel to the E line of
Broadway Street to the S line of the Missouri-
Pacific Railroad right-of-way, thence following
the S line of the Missouri-Pacific Railrcad right-
of—way in a westerly direction to the 1\14 corner
of Block 1$6, City of Little Rock , thence S along
the W line of Block 1$6 , 2241 ' to the point of
beginning.
