A RESOLUTION ELECTING AN ASSESSOR FOR
STREET IMPROVE",'MNT DISTRICT NO. 588,
WHEREAS, the Commissioners of Street Improvement District
No. 588 have made a report to the City Council that Horace Collie,
one of the assessors elected by the City Council for said District,
has moved from the City c 'Little Rock, County of Pulaski, and
State of Arkansas, and that a successor should be elected to take
his place on the Board of Assessment for said District; and
WHEREAS, Horace Collie has submitted to this Council his
resignation as such assessor, stating that he is a non-resident
of the State of Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners has recommended the
appointment of P,2rs. . B. Thompson, a duly qualified elector of
Little Rock, Arkansas , as assessor to succeed Horace Collie in
the above District; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that Mrs . B. Thompson be and she is
hereby elected assessor for Street Improvement District No . 588
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and she is directed to take
the oath of office and, together with the assessors, to assess
the benefits to be received by each and every lot, block or other
tract of land within said District by reason of the proposed
improvement.
