A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING TEE EXECUTION OF A
WRITTEN AGREEMENT WITH THE OWNERS OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE
LOCATED IN INDUSTRIAL PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS , TO -CLOSE AND ABANDON CERTAIN ALLEYS ,
W HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
finds and determines that the following described alleys, to-wit:
1. The alley between East 6th and East 7th Sts. from the east line
of Cornish Ave. to the west line of Picron Ave.
2. The alley between Cornish and Selma Aves. from the north line
of East 9th St. to the south line of East 7th St.
3. The alley between Selma and Kirspel Aves. from the north line of
East 9th St. to the south line of East 7th St.
L1 . The alley between Kirspel and Lucille Aves. from the north line
of East 9th St. to the south line of East 7th St.
The above descriptions cover the alleys through Blocks 7, 8, 13, 14,
17 and 18 of Industrial Park Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas;
are not needed for highway purposes; and
WHEREAS, the welfare of the city will be enhanced and/or pro-
moted by the closing and abandoning of said alleys;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized, on
behalf of the City Council, to join in a written agreement to close
and abandon the following described alleys , to-wit:
1. The alley between East 6th and East 7th Sts. from the east line of
Cornish Ave. to the west line of Picron Ave.
2. The alley between Cornish and Selma Aves. from the north line of
East 9th St. to the south line of East 7th St.
3e The alley between Selma and Kirspel Aves. from the north line of
East 9th St. to the south line of East 7th St.
4. The alley between Kirspel and Lucille Aves. from the north line
of East 9th St. to the south line of East 7th St.
The above descriptions cover the alleys through Blocks 7, 8, 13, 14,
17 and 13 of Industrial Park Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
Section 2, A copy of this resolution, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County and recorded in the deed records of the county.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect and be in force
from and after the execution of the agreement mentioned in Sec-
tion 1 above.
