A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR THE H '.ARING ON THE PETITION
TO CLOSE THE ALLEY RUNNING THROUGH BLOCK 15, PULASKI
HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, DIRECTING THE
CITY CLERK TO GIVE NOTICE OP SUCH HEARING, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS,
H. H. SYITH, CHAS . S . HARLEY, L. L. STEWART, J. C . CONNER AND
WIFE, F . L. IVES AND ti"FIFE, AND JEFF PEMBERTON AND WIFE have by
petition to the City Council of the City of Little Rock request-
ed that that portion of the alley running through Block 15, Pul-
aski Heights Addition to the City of Little Rock, between Lots
3 and 4 of said Block only, be closed, and
WHEREAS,
The City Council of the City cf Little Rock finds that said pet-
ition is in proper form,
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. That the 12 day of September, 1949 is here-
by fixed as the date for the hearing upon such petition.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall rive notice of such public
hearing on said petition by publication once a week for two con-
secutive weeks in sore newspaper in the City of Little Rock hav-
ing a general circulation. Said published notice shall state the
names of the persons who filed the petition, designation of the
portion of the alley to be closed, and advise all persons that
on the - 12 day of September, 1949 the Council will hear and
determine whether the alley shall be vacated.
