RESOLUTION NO. 1836.
A RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN LANDS WHICH ARE A CONTINUATION
OF EAST ROOSEVELT ROAD To BE A PUBLIC ROAD, AUTHORIZING TEE
?'NA.Y_.�R AND CITY CLERK TO E 'CUTE AND FILE A DEDICATION DEED,
REOUESTIPTG THE MISSOURI-PACIFIC RAILROAD TO CONSTRUCT A GRADE
CROSSING OVER TPE SAME, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
=,HEREAS,
The City of Little Rock has heretofore purchased certain lands for
a continuation of East Roosevelt Road and
WHEREAS,
Said land has not heretofore been dedicated and declared to be a
public road,
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE "ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTIOJ 1. That from and after the passage and approval of this
resolution the following property now owned by the City of Little Rock
is hereby declared to be a public road and by this is hereby dedicated
to the public for such use only, said property being more particularly
described as follows, to-wit :

A strip of land one hundred sixty (160) feet in width running
east and west across the North Half (T?z) of the North Half
(N ) of Section Thirteen (13) , Township One (1) North, Range
Twelve (12) igest, Pulaski County, Arkansas , lying eighty (80)
feet on each side of a center line of said strip, said center
line being described as follows : Corr encing at a point which
is the corner of Sections Eleven (11) , T•.elve (12) , Thirteen
(13) and fourteen (14) in Township One ( 1) North, Range Twelve
(12) West; thence south along the line between Sections Thir-
teen (13) and fourteen (14) a distance of four hundred thirty-
seven (437) feet to the point of beginning; thence east para-
llel to and four hundred thirty-seven (437) feet south of the
north line of Section Thirteen (13) four thousand two hundred
ninety-five (4,295) feet, more or less , to thewesterly line
of the right of way of the I'issouri Pacific Railroad Company,
containing fifteen and eight-tenths (15.8) acres , more or less .
Also, that part of the Northeast quarter (TTE -) of the Northeast
cuarter (NET) of Section Thirteen (13) , Township One (1) North,
Range Twelve (12) West, lying between the east line of Frazier
Pike and the east line of said Section Thirteen (13) in said
Pulaski County, more particularly described as follows : Beginn-
ing at a point on the north line of said Section Thirteen (13) ,
which point is also on the east line of Frazier Pike; thence
running easterly along said north line of Section Thirteen (13)
to the east line of Section Thirteen (13) ; thence south along
said east line of Section T -irteen (13) five hundred seventeen
(517) feet; thence west parallel to and five hundrea seventeen
(517) feet south from the north line of said Section Thirteen
(1,;) to the east line of Frazier Pike ; thence norti-westerly
along said east line of Frazier Pike to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the i_ayor and City Clerk are hereb;i authorized
and directed to execute a dedication deed conveyingr said property an._.
file it with the Circuit Clerk and Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas .

SECTION 3. That the above land is hereby designated as East
Roosevelt Poa.d.
SECTION 4. That the i!issouri-Pacific Railroad Company is
hereby- requested to construct the necessary grade crossing where its
track crosses said road .
SECTION 5. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed, and this resolution shall be in
full force and effect fron and after its adoption and approval.
