A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE
APPOINTMENT OF LAWSON L. DELONY
AS A MEMBER OF THE .!TER WORKS COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, the death of Willis A . Johnson as a member of
the eater 'Works Commission of the City of Little Rock has caused
a vacancy on that Board for the term to expire October 31, 1949,
and
WHEREAS, the remaining members of the oard of Water
Works Commissioners have by proper Resolution appointed Lawson L.
Delony to serve as 'Water Works Commissioner for term expiring
October 31, 1949, subject to the approval of two-thirds of the
duly elected and qualified members of the City Council,
Nod, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the apoointment of Lawson L. Delony
as a member of the Aater Aorks Commission of the City of Little
Rock to fill the term expiring October 31, 1949, be and the same
is hereby approved.
