A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A RELEASE ON BEHALF OE THE CITY TO THE
FIDELITY & CASUALTY INSURANCE.
WHEREAS, there are now pending civil actions to collect
damages to city property wherein the City of Little =lock
is plaintiff, and
WHEREAS, the insurance company for the various defendants
has offered a complete settlement in the amount of damages
claimed by the city,
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The mayor and city clerk of the city of
Little Rock, Arkansas, are hereby authorized and directed to
execute a release on behalf of the city, upon receipt of
the amount of damages claimed, any farther claim or claims
arising out of the following accidents :
Damage to traffic light at 9th and Broadway on
or about September 6, 1947, in the sum of 476.37.
Damage to traffic light at 7th and Broadway on
or about July 27, 1947, in the sum of $165.30.
Damage to fire truck at 9th and Victory on or
about 'march 7, 1947, in the sum of 738.14.
Section 2. All resolutions or parts of resolutions
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
