A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO A LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES
GOVERNMENT CONCERNING CERTAIN PROP-
ERTY LOCATED IN FAIR PARK TO BE USED
BY THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authori?ed
to enter into a lease agreement with the United States Govern-
ment upon the following described property located in the Fair
Park, Pulaski County, Arkansas :
Commencing at the NE corner of Block 7 of
Cunningham's Addition to the City of Little
Rock; thence North along the '"pest right of way
line of Jonesboro Drive for a distance of 95 ' ;
Thence West 70 ' for a point of beginning of
this survey. Thence in a Westerly, a Northernly
and a Northeasterly direction along the East
right of way line of an irregularly curved
gravel roadway for a distance of approximately
475' to an intersection with the South right
of way line of an asphalt pavement; thence in a
Southeasterly direction along the South right
of way line of an asphalt pavement roadway for
a distance of 165' ; thence South along the west
right of way line of Jonesboro drive for a dis-
tance of 240' more or less to a point of beginning.
Further described as being an irregular shaped tract
of land adjoining and lying West of Jonesboro Drive
at the South entrance of Fair Park, Little Rock,
Arkansas.
SECTION 2. 'e it further resolved that said lease shall be for
such times and for such amounts as may be agreed upon by the
above named officials and the United states Government.
