A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO A LEASE AGREE-
MENT WITH THE U. S. GOVERNMENT FOR THE
LEASING OF THE CITY HEALTH CENTER
WHEREAS, the property located on the Southwest
corner of Markham and Gaines Streets is owned by the U. S.
Government, but was built and has been used since its con.-
pletion as a City Health Center, and
WHEREAS, the city now has an opportunity to lease
said property from the U. S. Government with an option to
ire purchase same at a very reasonable price, NOW THERfl 'ORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
Section 1. That the mayor and the city clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
for and on behalf of the City of Little Rock a lease agree-
ment with an option to purchase with the U. S. Government
for the property located on the Southwest corner of Markham
and Gaines Streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
generally known as the City Health Center and more particu-
larly described as follows :
ALL OF LOTS 10, 11, 12 OF BLOCK 135 ORIGINAL
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
together with all appurtenances thereunto appertaining.
