A RESOLUTION FIXING A T I' E AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEAR-
ING IN RESPECT OF THE PROPOSED ABANDONMENT BY THE CITY OF LIT-
TLE 'SOCK OF A TRIANGULAR PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED IN THE WESTERN
PART OF RECTOR AVENUE ABUTTING UPON THE WEST SEVEN FEET (W 7' )
OF RECTOR AVENUE CONTIGUOUS TO LOT SIX (6) , BLOCK THIRTEEN
(13), POPE' S ADDITDN TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, The petitclon of Q. L. Porter, as Agent, asking the city
to abandon a small triangular parcel of land located in the western
portion of Rector Avenue abutting upon the west seven feet (w 71 ) of
'Rector Avenue contiguous to Lot Six (6) , Block Thirteen (13) , Pope's
Addition to the City of Little Rock, said triangular parcel being
specifically described as follows:
Starting St a point in the east property line of Block
Thirteen (13), Pope' s Addition to the City of Little Rock, Ar-
kansas, which is seventeen and 21/100 feet (17.21') south of the
northeast corner of said block, run thence north two feet (21 )
and thence sough eighty-one degrees trirty-two minutes east (
0.81 deg. , 32 min. E) six and 9/10 feet ( 6.9 ' ) to a point of be-
ginning; thence run south eighty-one degrees, thirty-two minutes
east ( S.81 deg. , 32 min. E. ), parallel to the north property line
of said hlocck, nine and 9/10 feet (9.9 ' ) to a point; thence
south eight degrees twenty-eight minutes West ( S. 8 deg. 28 min.W. )
sixty-nine . and 1/10 feet ( 69.11 ) to a point; thence north sixty-
nine and 8/10 feet (69.8 ' ) to the point of beginning.
has been duly presented to the City Council in accordance with the laws
of Arkansas and it Is deemed necessary that a public hearing be called
and held as required by law;
BE I` ' RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK that a
public hearing in respect of said petition be held in the council
chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
at S o'clock, _ _. M., on the 23th day of April___„�_. ,_,__..
1946, and that the City Clerk be, and he hereby is, authorized and di-
rected to give public notice of such meeting, and of the time, place,
and purpose thereof, in the manner and for the time required by law.
