A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PETITION OF THE
SOUTHERN COTTON OIL CDMPANY• TO CLOSE AN ALLEY AS PLATTED BETWEEN
BLOCK TEN (10 ) , CLINTON PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AND THE SOUTH LINE OF THE SOUTHERN COTTON OIL COMPANY
PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND TO CLOSE AN
ALLEY PLATTED BETWEEN THE WEST LINE OF LOT SEVEN ( 7) , BLOCK TEN
(10) ,CLINTON PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AND THE EAST LINES OF LOTS NINE-THIRTEEN (9-13) INCLUSIVE, BLOCK
TEN (10 ) , CLINTON PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK.
WHEREAS, The Southern Cotton Oil Company, the owner of
Lots Three-Thirteen ( 3-13 ) inclusive, of Block Ten (10) Clinton Park'
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the owners of all
property located due North of said Block Ten (10 ) Clinton Park Ad-
dition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , has filed with this
Council a petition to vacate the alley between Block Ten ( 10) of
Clinton Park Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas and the
South Line of The Southern Cotton Oil Company properties in the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas , and to further close an alley platted be-
tween the West line of Lot Seven ( 7) Block Ten(1O) , Clinton Park Ad-
dition and the East Lines of Lots Nine-Thirteen ( 9-13) inclusive ,
Block Ten (10) Clinton Park Addition to the City, of Little Rock,
Arkansas , and has further filed the consent of all owners owning
property in any way affected by or located in said Block Ten ( 10)
and abutting on the alley sought to be closed ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That pursuant to the
procedure set forth by Act 17 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of the State of Arkansas for the year 1945, approved February 6,1945 ,
The City Clerk shall give notice by publication once a week for two
weeks in some newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, ad-
vising all property owners who may be effected by the proposed
vacating or closing of said alley, that the City Council will
hear the petition and determine whether said property should be •
abandoned as an alley, and that the Notice shall be in sub-
stantially the following form:
"NOTICE OF A HEARING ON A PETITION TO ABANDON THE
ALLEY RUNNING EAST AND VEST AND PLATTED BETWEEN THE NORTH
LINE OF BLOCK TEN (10 ) CLINTON PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK AND THE SOUTH LINE OF THE SOUTHERN COTTON

Notice is hereby given that The Southern Cotton
Oil Company is the owner of Lots Three-Thirteen ( 3-13)
inclusive, of Clinton Park Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas ,has filed with the City Council
a petition to abandon the above described alley, and
that the City Council will hear this petition and de-
termine whether said alley should be abandoned , at a
meeting to be held at 8 o' clock P.M. on the 10th day
of Sept, , 1945 , and at such meeting all property
owners who are affected by the petition, or who are
directly interested in the (latter , are notified to be
present , and an opportunity will be given to them to
be heard.
