HomeMy WebLinkAbout1675 RESOLUTION NO. 1675 RESOLUTION OF THE LITTLE ROCK CITY COUNCIL CALLING FOR A HEARING ON THE PETITION OF TERMINAL WAREHOUSE COM- PANY TO CLOSE SHERMAN STREET BET1NEEN MARKHAM STREET AND RIGHT-OF-WAY OF MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY, AND DIRECTING THE CITY COUNCIL TO GIVE NOTICE OF A HEARING . WHEREAS, Terminal ti arehouse Company has filed a petition with the Little Rock City Council requesting that North the City abandon that part ofrherman Street between Markham Street and right-of-way of the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company; and WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to conduct a hearing on said petition after notice of said hearing has been published in the manner prescribed by law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Little Rock hear the petition of the Terminal Narehouse Company at g p.m. on the 26th day of February , 1945, at which hearing the City Council will determine whether all abutting property owners and other persons directly interested have consented to such abandonment; that H. C . Graham is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice in a newspaper published in Pulaski County by insertion once a week for two consecutive weeks of the day and time of such hearing, and on said date the Council will proceed to conduct said hearing in the manner prescribed by law.
