HomeMy WebLinkAbout1667 RESOLUTION NO. 1667 WHEREAS, Mr. Thomas Edwin Wilson was summoned to his reward by the Great Creator on July 31st, 1944, and WHEREAS, he served faithfully and well as a Council member from April 10th, 1939 to April 12th, 1943. His judgement was always good, and his policy sound, and WHEREAS, hevas a most respected citizen and displayed a deep interest in civic affairs. Hess secretary of the Commonwealth Federal Savings and Loan Association, and a leader in his profession, and WHEREAS, he was devoted to his family and did every thing to make for their happines.; THEIEFORE,BF IT RESOLVE D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, that, in the passing of Mr. T. E. Wilson, our country has lost a patriotic citizen; the state a valued man; the city a true and tried friend, and his family a faithful and devoted member, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Council mourns his passing as the loss of a valued Counselor and that this Resolution be entered upon the permanent records of the city, and the clerk thereof send a copy to his widow.
