A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HOLDING OF A BLACKOUT ON OCTOBER
27, 1942 IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The Air Raid Warden Division of Civilian Defense
is hereby authorized to conduct a blackout against air raids on
October 27 , 1942 between the hours of 8 :00 o 'clock and 9:00 o 'clock
P. M. The area within which the blackout authorized hereunder
shall be held is as follows ; from Byrd Street on the east side
to iolfe Street on the west side ; from the Arkansas River to
ninth street on the east side of Broadway and from the Arkansas
River to seventh street on the west side of Broadway, all in
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas .
