BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . The Little Rock Zoo Commission is hereby
authorized and empowered to enter into a lease agreement
with the National Speed Derby, Inc . , on terms to be agreed
upon between the said Zoo Commission and the National Speed
Derby, Inc.
Section 2. The said Zoo Commission is further author-
ized and empowered to lease to the National Speed Derby, Inc.
a suitable plot of ground in Little Rock Fair Park for the
period from Iay 28, 1941, to, and including, July 20, 1941 ;
the Zoo Commission and the National Speed Derby, Inc . , shall
select the precise location and agree between themselves as
to its area.
Section 3. The powers granted under this resolution
shall become effective immediately upon the adoption of this
resolution.
