A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE OWNER OF BLOCK 12, POL'E'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, CLOSING THE ALLEY IN SAID BLOCK, IN PURSUANCE TO 10032
OF POPE'S DIGEST OF THE STATUTES OF AR KANSAS.
WHEREAS, the alley as originally platted in Block 12
of Pope's Addition to the city of Little Rock has never been open to,
nor used by, the public, nor is the use of such alley necessary for
public travel; and
WHEREAS, the said block is a fractional one, the Z`
in
lots on the east side of said alley being so small as to be practically •
useless if said alley were over opened and used by the public; and

WHEREAS, the said entire block is awned by a single
propertyowner, who is desirous of having said alley vacated;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Little Rock be, and they are hereby, authorized to enter into an agree-
ment with the owner of said Block 12, Pope's Addition to the City of
Little Rock, providing for the vacation and abandonment of the alley
as originally platted in said block, said agreement to conform to the
provisions of 1 10032 of Pope's Digest of the Statutes of Arkansas, and
to be recorded with the circuit clerk, as therein provided. Upon the
execution and recording of said agreement, the alley in said block shall
thereupon be vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in force and
effect after its ?DM" adoption.
