A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL TO ENTER
INTO AN AGR.EEM IiT WITH AND MAKE AVAILABLE TO THE NATIO= YOUTH
ADMINISTRATION, CERTAIN LANDS OWNED EY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of LittilLe Rock
SECTION 1. VaEREAS it is fitting and desirable and in the
interest of national welfare that the City of Little Rock make a-
vailable to the National Youth Administration of the United States
of America, certain real property located within the City of Little
Rock.
NOWT THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council
of the City of Little Rock that the Mayor and the City clerk are
hereby directed and authorized to enter into any agreement which
the said layor and C it; Clerk � ' ay deem advisable to make avail-
able to the National Youth Administration of the United States of
America, the following described real property owned by the City
of Little Rock:
Part of the SVi of NE of 5'4 4 Section 6, T1N, R 12 1J,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, being more particularly des-
cribed as follows : Beginning at a point which is 20
feet north and 20 feet II of the SE corner of the Sf
of the NE4 of SW of Section 6, TiN, R 12 II, Pulaski
County, Arkansas ; said point being the intersection of
the west line of Fair Park Boulevard extended north
with the north line of West 8th St; thence west along
the north line of West 8th Street, 425 feet; thence
north 200 feet, thence east 425 feet, thence south
200 feet to the point of beginning, all of the said
land being located within area known as Fair Park and
containing 1.95 acres more or less.
Said lands are to be used by the National Youth ;Administration for
t
the purpose of erecting a structure or structures to be used in
connection with the establishment of emu work experience training
center for the active training of youths in various trades, voca-
tions and crafts.
SECTION 2. This authority shall be effective from and after
the passage of this act.
