A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO CONVEY PROPERTY OF THE CITY IN THE CUS-
TODY OF THE OAKLAND CEI/1ETERY BOARD, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the Oakland Cemetery Board did lend the
sum of -4000 upon an eight hundred and twenty acre farm in
Mississippi County, Arkansas, known as the Connor Place and
formerly belonging to the Perrin Estate; and
WHEREAS, the said Board has received back in pay-
ment the sum of"1440.00 and desires to sell its remaining in-
terest in said farm for the sum of ; 1750.00 cash; NOW, THERE-
FORE, •
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk, upon the
presentation of a request from the Oakland Cemetery Board,
shall execute the necessary instruments of conveyance trans-
ferrin7, seilin= and conveying; the undivided interest of the
City of Little Rock to Howard Cockri_ 11, Trustee, for the sum
of Seventeen Hundred Fifty Dollars ( -1750.00) in cash in the
followin-^ described property, to-wit:
West one-half of the Southwest quarter and
West one-half of the Southeast quarter of the south-
west Quarter of Section 26 ; South one-half of Sec-
tion 27; Southeast quarter and the East one-half
of the Southwest quarter of Section 28 ; Northeast
quarter of Section 33, all in Township 11 North,
Range 8 Fast, Mississippi County, Arkansas.
Section 2. That the funds received from said con-
veyance shall be paid to the Oakland Cemetery Board to be
replaced in the fund from which the loan was on ,Tinally made
by said Board.
