'-REPEAS, Wm. Asley Peay, a former member of the City Coun-
cil of the City of Little Rock, passed away on Wednesday , August
24 , 1938, and ,
'"T7rREAS, the said Wm. Ashley Peay was a ver^ prominent cit-
izen of the community and ,
EREAS , he was at all times identified with the civic and
moral betterment of this community,
T"'EREFORE, be it resolved:
That the community has lost a valuable citi?en and his
acquaintances a true and delightful friend ;
AND PE IT FM.HTFEP RESOLVED:
That a copy of these resolutions he spread on the records
of the city council as a permanent memorial and that a copy duly
authenticated be presented to his relatives .
