HomeMy WebLinkAbout1425 R E S O L U T I O N N 0. 1425 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO TAKE BIDS ON THE PURCHASE OF MOTOR PICK-UP STREET SWEEPING EQUIPMENT AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS the City of Little Rock, for the benefit of the public health and sanitation, must purchase at this time street sweeping equipment, and WHEREAS, it is necessary for said street sweeping equipment to sweep a minimum of nine feet and have a pay-load capacity of at least two cubic yards, and WHEREAS, bidders shall be asked to submit bids on rear broom of tempered steel broom wire set in a steel core as well as on fiber rear broom, and WHEREAS, bidders shall further be required to state whether or not machines have cabs to protect operator in bad weather, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized and instructed to take bids in accordance with this Resolution and report its recommendation back to the City Council for ratification within twenty (20) days from the passage of this Resolution.
