WHEREAS, The late Judge W. iii. Kavanaugh was an outstand-
ing citizen of Little Rock who worked untiringly to open and
develop the territory of the City traversed by Prospect Avenue;
and,
WHEREAS, The leadership of the late Judge W. M. Kavanaugh
should be recognized in some fitting way.
Now, Therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
That in memory of the said Judge Kavanaugh the name

of Prospect Avenue is hereby changed to Kavanaugh , and that
such street shall henceforth be known by that nare.
