A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ti`iAYOR OF THE CITY OF LIT-
TLE ROCK TO FILE AN APPLICATION TO THE UNITED
STATES OF AMERICA THROUGH THE FEDERAL EJMERGEN-
CY ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC 24ORKS FOR A LOAN
AND GRANT TO AID IN FINANCING THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A NEav SOURCE OF RATER SUPPLY AND DESIGNATING
R. E. OVERiIIIAN, MAYOR, TO FURNISH SUCH INFORMA-
TION AS THE GOVERNMENT MAY REQUEST.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That R. E. Overman, 141ayor, be and
he is authorized to execute and file an application on be-
half of the �%ity of Little Rock, Arkansas to the United
States of America for a loan and grant to aid in financing
the construction of reservoir, dam and pipe line to consti-
tute a new source of` water supply.
Section 2. That R. E. Overman, mayor, be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such informa-
tion as tiie United States of America through the -V ederal
Emergency Administration of Public ygorks may reasonably
request in connection with the application 'ohich is herein
authorized to be filed..
