'adHERE'AS, so far as the Little Rock City
Council is advised, nothing is being done toward the
coy,pletion of the T -!enty -fifth Street Paving Project,
from Twenty -fifth on fain to Twenty- fourth on T.Fain,
and from Twenty-fifth and T, °.ain East to the Little Rock
Fine Bluff Highway, and
141HE R, approximately the sums of x:145,000.00
has been allocated by the Federal Covernment ti-rough
the State highway Departi:ien.t to the completion of that
project, and
ViITEREAS, there is danger of the �r145,00C.00
being re- allocated and spent on some other project un-
less the City of Little Rock proceeds at once to secure
the required right -of -way to complete said paving -pro-
ject.
TTE=FORE, be it resolved that the Li�tle
Rock City Council nominate and elect a committee of
three aldermen, as follows:
C. B. Erivin
Henry G. Leiser
Floyd Terral
the said aldermen to be empowered ar.,7 . directed to en-
gage some nerson or persons, not more than three in
number, to secure options from the respective land
owners alonF,; the course of said rroposed paving project,
and when the options are secured to submit the ,ame to
the council at whicl time the council s all determine
the amount the City of Little stock will pay for the
right -of -way and the fee that will be naid for the
services of the person or persons securing the options
on said property.

Be it further resolved that said committee
is directed to report progress at each subsequent
meeting, of the City Council until right -of -way is
secured and payment thereof made.
And be it further- resolved that it is the
purpose of this: resolution to select a committee with
definite duties to perform and advise r ith the Mayor
ir: the completion of 2aid T.roject.
