An ordinance assessing the value of benefits to be -re-
ceived by the owners of each of the several blocks, lots and 1 }ar --
eels of land within Street Improvement District No. 274 of the
City of Tittle Rock, Arkansas.
ti+T RE'AS, a majority in value of the property owners
owning property adjoining; the locality to be affected and. situated
within Street Improvement District No. 274 of the City of Little
Rock, .1rkansas organized for the purpose of making local improve-
ments therein by grading, draining, curbing and guttering in such
manner and of such materials as the commissioners of said District
shall determine to be for the best interests of the District, the
streets set out in their petition, have petitioned the City Coun-
cil of Little lock for the construction of staid improvement, =:nd
that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property
within said District according to benefits received; and
riEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot and parcel of real property situated within said District
equals or exceeds the local assessment thereof; a.nd
rI IZ,aS, the estimated cost of said improvement is

SECTION 1: That the said several blocks, lots and par-
eels of real property within said Street Improvement District 4o.

City of .1.ittle Rock, and as the same may be annually readjusted
by the Board of Assessors, and that ten leer centum (10%) o- said

assessment of the value of the benfits of each of said lots,
blocks and parcels of land shall be paid annually on or before
the 15th day of August of each year until the whole of said
assessment shall have b4en paid. The first installment of said
assessment shall be paid on or before the 15th day of

in conflict herewith are repealed, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage,
