Vlhereas, a majority in value of the property owners owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated within Curb, Gutter and Storm Sewer District No. 277 of the City of Tittle Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of making local improve- ments therein by constructing curbs and gutters and storm severs on the streets set out in their petition, have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock for the construction of said im- provement and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property within said district, according to the benefits received; and, ;'hereas, said benefits received by each and every block, lot and parcel of real property situated within said district equals or ex- ceeds the local assessment thereon; and, :1hereas, the estimated cost of said improvement is $35,527.69, THEREFORE, BE, IT ORDAINED BY ME CITY COUi�CI=, OF Tai; CITY OF _75ITTTS ROCE: Section 1. That the said several blocks, lots and parcels of real property vrithin said Curb, Gutter and Storm Sevier District No. 277 be and they are hereby assessed according to the €- asessmezt list as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock and as the same may be annually readjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that ten per centum of said assessment of the value of the benefits of each of said blocks, lots and parcels of land shall be paid annually, on or before the lt� day of © of each year until the whole of said assessment shall have been pyid. Section 2. That all ordinances or pests of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force G and effect from and after its passage.
