Be It Ordained by the City Council of
the City of Little liockthat the fir:.t paragraph of Part
VI of Ordinance ido. 1884, i:nown as the Building Code, be and
is hereby amended to read as follovis:
Every build.ing,hereafter erected v;ithin the following

struction means buildings constructed with walls of brick, s�
stone,portland cement concrete or steele, in which wood beams
or lintels shall not be placed , and in which the floors and
roofs shall be constructed with rolled wrought irion or steele

hollow the hard burnt Alytera cotta) portland cement concrete
plain or reinforced with metal, or any combination of these
or the entire structure may be of reinforced portland cement
concrete. In each and all cases the strength of method of con
struction shall conform to the regirer:rents of this code.
No wood work of other inflammable material shall be used in any
partitions,furrings or ceilings in any such fire proof building.
This ordinance Shall be in full force from and after its p
passage and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herwtith are hereby repealed.
