ORDINANCE NO. 2781,
AN ORDINANCE P.- M- HITTING TH7 FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH TO 7R1TCIT A
TMIFORARY BUILDING ON TWELFTH AND LOUISIANA STR -`:TS, AND FOR
OTMR PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH" CITY OF LITTL^ ROCK:
Section 1. That the First Baptist Church be and
they are hereby permitted to erect a temporary structure (90 ft,
x20 ft.) of wooden construction with mineral surface roofing on
property of the r'irst baptist Church at the corner of Twelfth
and Louisiana 6treets. Said building shall remain standing
for a period of not more than one year and shall be removed at
any time within said period upon thirty (30) days notice from
this council.
Section 2. This ordinance shall repeal car affect
no part of the present building code except insofar as they apply
to this particular structure.

To The Honorable Liayor
and City Council
of the city of Little Rock.
Gentlemen:
Little Rock, Arkansas.
Feb. 1, 1921.
We earnestly request a special permit from your
Honorable body to erect a temporary building at the south
east corner of twelfth and I.a. Sts. on our property. The
building is to be 90 x 20 ft. and to be built of wood and
sicced and covered with mineral surface roofing. It is to
be used as an additional Sunday School building, temporar-
ily; and vie understand by the use of the word temporary
that we are to remove the said building at any time your
Honorable body should so order or as soon as we can erect
a permanent building. 'Ve earnestly request prompt action
as we have no place to house our increased attendance at
Sunday School.
