ORDINANCE NO. 2792.

An Ordinance Authorizing and Directing the Mayor -- and "the City
Clerk to Execute the City's Deed Conveying to the Adjacent
Property Owners the Alley in Block 3, Midland Hills
Addition to the City of Little Rock, and for
other purposes.
Whereas, the alley in Block 3, Midland Hills Addition,
has never been used and all of the owners of real estate in that
block have built their residences facing east and west and the
alley, being east and west, is of no further use to them or the
general public; and,
Whereas, all of said property owners in said block have
joined in a petition to this council asking that the alley be
closed and the property deeded by the City to the adjacent prop -
erty owners, Now, Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the City's quitclaim deed to
said alley, conveying said alley, or the strip of ground shown
upon the plat as being an alley, to the adjacent property owners;
and the Mayor is further authorized and directed to deliver said
deed to the signers of the petition heretofore presented to this
council.
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
